I got mine yesterday and for my own needs it is ideal.I would recommend this to anyone who goes to the beach as much as I do.I used mine yesterday doing just that,going to the beach.I go fishing year round in Coney Island NY and I was picking up all my favorite stations and the CD player also plays my CD's real well.I would say for the price it is worth it.
I don't know what is wrong with this product but I am very disappointed. I am expecting Amazon to ship out this item with no defect and at no charge to my end-user as a courtesy. This is my third time to order the same item because the first two turned out to be defective on arrival. And, since this is an inexpensive item, after the first DOA I ordered the replacement without even dealing with the return process because shipping and handling and the time I would be putting in this entire process weren't worth it.
That may have been bad luck, but it is still pretty junky. not even a tone dial. I returned this "Hi-Fi System" because the CD player didn't work. It doesn't even have a bass or tremble dial.
